this week

I can't say I'm sad to see this week end... for some reason I've been kinda stressed and emotional, this is likely a result of:
  1. I've woken up at 5:30 every day this week to work out... yikes!
  2. I'm taking a week off from my beloved chocolate :-(
  3. Katie is going back to college tomorrow, and I'm going to miss her
See?  Just the thought of these things makes me want to cry.  However, I've been practicing being positive (one of my new year goals) and here's the flipside:
  1. Despite the bummyness, I've felt full of energy from working out :-D
  2. No chocolate means lots of healthy snacks and water to hopefully distract my taste buds and fill my tummy!
  3. I've had so much fun with Katie in the month that she's been home... if it's possible, I love her more now than ever before <3
As usual, there have been lots of snuggles this week with my PJ... he's my go-to happy thought!  
Also, I've noticed that if you put a smile on your face, its totally impossible to be in a bad mood... anyone else notice the same thing?  I keep testing it while I'm on the subway starting my commute home, and it works every time- I've even gotten some smiles back at me!
