on life...

Last night PJ, my sister, and I played LIFE... my sister had never played it before, but I remember it as a favorite amongst my cousins when we were all younger.  I know that new versions of board games come out every few years, but I still have the 90's edition... looks like this:
Yup, complete with that FABULOUSLY 90's looking family!

Anyway, I though the board game might be an appropriate segue into my recent thoughts, and out of my recent hibernation...
My big excuse for not blogging is usually that I'm in some sort of transition... that something in my life has changed, I'm adjusting, just bear with me, blah blah.  The more I thought about this, the more I realized that I go through "transitions" fairly often... so often, in fact, that I am ALWAYS transitioning!
Currently, I'm working my way out of the post holiday, post blizzard, cold dark winter makes me sleepy funk.  The only way I know how to get out of it is to DO things... to take pictures, to blog what I'm thinking, to make some new bows... all that good stuff :-D
Now, I promise I will do my very best to bring my life to the next level here (because, isn't that what we all hope a transition really is??)... I just may need a little encouragement from my friends out there ;-)  So don't be shy, post a comment if you want to, let me know you're on my side... because I'm on your side too!

  1. I LOVED Life! And collecting kids in the station wagons. How fun! I have the Lilly Monopoly game but so far I have yet to convince anyone to play it with me.
