goodbye to another week

So, I think you've all been waiting long enough to see what PJ's special surprise from me was.  I finally dug out the pictures from my camera, and while it looks better in person, I think you'll be able to see how cool it was!

PJ drives a new GTO, but he also likes the old ones... and so, i ordered this amazing print from JakeLeiberman on Etsy.  It's an 11x14 print, so its pretty big, and its printed on metallic paper that makes it a little bit shimmery... usually not something boys love but it makes the colors look really sharp and bright!
Finding the right frame for this was pretty tricky, but I thought that this one would really allow the print to stand out, and it did!  However, take note that double panes of glass are SHARP and difficult to deal with!  I got a nasty cut on my finger while framing this piece...

And here is the card that I made for him! ...Yes, thats a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich... it's a joke we have together.  I'm really happy with how it came out, and PJ loved it and his present!  I just love surprising others with happy things :-)

Speaking of happiness, my sister passed her road test today, so there is one more crazy teenager on the road around here!  Actually, she is very responsible and I think she's a great driver... I'm really proud of her!

CONGRATS KATIE!!

I wasn't in the office today, but I did have a long list of things that I wanted to get done.  I made a list and actually did just about everything on it!  The last item on my list is sketching out some ideas for future designs... so I think I'll do that now.  I've never been great at sketching, but I'd like to have a more record of my ideas, since letting them float around in my head is rarely productive... haha!  Once that is over, it'll be the weekend again, HOORAY!
